hey guys..whats good?...im new to this forum since i just got a used 04 G35 sedan..looking to do some small things to it..nothing like fast and furious stuff...i want to get the back sub changed (i have the infiniti bose)...and maybe black out the tail lights (that might not happen cuz i dont think it'll look good on a silverish-beige g35)..as far as current mods..i changed out the stock HID's to 8000K ones..parking lights..under the door lights...all interior lights..trunk light..reverse lights..and license plate lights are all WHITE LED...thought bout doing the blinkers as well but i wasnt sure if i really needed a load equalizer or not..i have hardwired a Escort X50 (red) to the fuse box..my friend offered me his 19" forged wheels that he got with his 05 g35 coupe for free and i am still debating on if i should take them or not....and thas about it..if anyone has simple stuff i can do to the G..let me know...kinda low on the funding of this car and modding it..so thas why im looking to keep it simple.

Welcome to NICO!

The 19" coupe rims are always a good upgrade and they are pretty light weight as well.

The exhaust midpipe from a coupe will give you a nice bump in power. The JWT or Stillen short ram intake, plenum spacer, and depending if it's a manual, the MREV2 are all terrific mods!

Check out the G-series FAQ (link in my sig) for more info and ideas

take the 19's as they are really a nice upgrade!

Do you have a spoiler?

How about a Coupe Mid Pipe.. .Gives you a sound like the coupe in the exhaust. LOVE MINE!

Clear corner lights

Upgrade your intake to a pop charger/ z tube combo

Welcome to NICO!

I disagree about the 19s. Tires for them are overly expensive ($150/each on the cheap end, up to $350/each).

You'll probably loose around .5 seconds on the quarter mile (not sure if that matters) and your fuel economy will likely suffer.

I have them and am seriously considering swapping them out. I think the 18s look best on the sedan.

As for mods:

Assuming it's an auto, I would look under the hood to see if your radiator fan is belt or electrically driven. If it's belt driven, a fan swap is in order.

A grounding kit made by yours truly (see sig) has gotten rave reviews.

For sound and a little performance, I'd go with an intake or the coupe mid-pipe (It's part of the exhaust).

Other than the fan swap, everything on that list is under $200/each.

Depends on the build date. Some of the 04s had mechanical fans as well. That info thread I made had the exact build dates.

I think it was only the 03's that had the mechanical fans!

The build date is from 08/02 and 10/03.

I'm pretty sure Infiniti wasn't still building 03s in 10/03.

This info is straight from the Infiniti Parts Database (Thanks Tony!)

I think the 04 FSM mentions both fans types for the Auto Sedans.
