New to the forum... Some questions for the M45

Hey guys, to make things short and simple. I'm looking for an M45 currently. I've read the stickie at the top of the forum giving the break down and differences between an M35/M45.

I'm just looking for options right now and was wondering what should i be looking for when i'm looking at the car.

I want nav and a reverse camera... that's a no brainer for me.

I'm just not sure if the M comes with anything else worth mentioning.

Differences between sport packages and etc..

well, I dont think 03-04 model M45's come with reverse cameras so that rules out those years, other than that the new M45's can have the nav and camera. All depends on what year your looking for.

are you getting new orused? I would def try to get a 2006+ (2ND GEN) model. As long as you get NAV, you will have the rear camera. Other then that, if you get a M35 or M45, DEF get the sport (08+) or Journey (06-07) package. If you get an M35X (awd) you wont have HID's, the car is as high as a 4x4, and you will not have the black headlights. You will have chrome. Why a 53k M35X has non HID headlights is beyond me but whatever. I'm in that situation right now. I'm about to take over a lease on an 07 M35X with 12k on it and I'm gonna need to lower it, get M45 wheels, and PROB get the black housing headlights because they look a million times better.

Theres a sound system package that gives you speakers IN the tops of the seats, I think its part of the journey package. You also get lane departure warning.

thanks guys well i'm looking for 06-07 used m45

i am curious to know as i'm looking on their website and breaking down the packages

they say in the premium package there are reclining seats for the rear seats

is that true for all years or just the newer ones... because i would be interested in that also...

if anyone knows please chime in... thanks again for the tips guys
