just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. im brand new to the forum. just got my versa 1.8s and i freaking love it! i drove the FIT, Yaris, scion XA,sentra, and nissan versa all in one day and the versa definetly came out on top, because unlike the other...IT DIDNT FEEL CHEAP!!!...anyways, just wanted to drop it. got a pic down there that was taken after i got home from the dealership. ive already done a few things to it, so it looks different now. ill post more pics soon! thanks guys!

yes it does! they only had two of these on the lot. and I got the second one. the other one was red. which wasnt really my color.

welcome to the forum! Did you lurk around here before purchase, or are you completely fresh and new? (muhahahhaa)

There's a red V that's been sitting at the Nissan dealership closest to me for a couple months. Between the fact that it's red and they've put some big ol super-blingy wheels on it, it's not surprising that it hasn't sold.

IMO they picked the wrong shade of red for the Versa, they should have done more of a ruby or burgundy.

But I digress. Welcome! What "things" have you done to your car, as you say?

You are right. It isn't the best red. Ford pickups and Corvette's have the BEST reds, IMHO.

Pontiac has a burgandy/maroon red that is kinda pretty. Like the other poster, I'm not crazy about red - except on Corvettes

hahaha nah, I'm not a lurker. After I got the car, I started looking for a good forum! I haven't done anything HUGE yet, I'm not much into "tuning" cars or whatever thats called. so far I've put a nice hugh shiny chrome nissan front plate to replace that ugly dealer plate that was there before, and I've addad some little sporty seat belt pads hahaha...but thats it. This is really my first NEW car, and I'm really ejoying it. The first REAL upgrade I'm going to do is a nice tint in a few days. I'm really scared though, because I live in Florida where it gets very VERY humid and Ive seen people with HORRIBLE tints that bubble up. Does anyone have any reccomendations of things i should look out for when going to a place? what should i expect to pay for a very good clean tint job?

Members here have paid $200-$370 for tinting. It depends a lot on the shop, but yes, look for one that uses high-quality lifetime tints. If you're concerned about bubbling even after that, you might look for a shop that ALSO gives lifetime warranties on labor.

Also, there are regional forums under Nicoclub, off of the main forum. There will be one for your region, try asking people there who does a good job in your area.

It was the second choice I gave my dealer, after Sapphire Blue.
