I have questions to ask to the pros that own a g35. I am now beginning to fix up my 05 G35 coupe. I want to spend about $1000 on little things to have more performance. I am starting with Air intake. What brand do you recommend for max performance? Then what next? OR... What will yo do with $1000 for max performance?

Thanks,NeverEnough

For max performance on a budget I would start out with a cat-back system instead of air intake. You wouldn't feel the diference from the intake...maybe a few more MPG better, but thats about it.

I would start with a Z-tube and possibly the pop-charger.Next, I would do the plenum spacer for your intake.

I'm sure zozo will be around soon to help you spend your $$$

Craig, welcome to NICO!!

Be careful, once you start modding....it's hard to stop! Check out this mod thread for some ideas on what to do.

I would get the following:

Stillen PopCharger, Z-tube, 5/16 spacer, MREV2, Stillen or HKS exhaust.

You'll love the sound and the power that the G will make!

I did everything Joe did... in that same order. Except I went with a JWT Pocharger intake not Stillen.

Just remember each extra NA HP will cost $100 and each NA lb/ft $150-$200. Decide how many of each you want.
