Well, when I was working (3 months ago) I got the opportunity to buy a beautiful s13 (in my eyes) for the silly amount of $400 dlls. Before buying it, I had not seen any pictures of the car, in fact, I hated Nissan cars (except for the Nissan Skyline) so I wasn´t veeeeeeeery excited about buying it... at that moment I had no other ride cuz I sold my civic like two years ago. I said: "Damn, I don´t like Nissans, but I really need a car to conmute to work", plus, the price was not that expensive (to me)... so I decided to call the guy and ask him if he had the s13 still. He said that he had not sold the chassis yet so I went to his house and this is what I found:

(That´s my house, please don´t ask me why I don´t have grass or cement)
Well, as a "good hondaboy that I was", I had never seen such a beautiful car, in fact, in my mind I had no idea that Nissan had created such a sweet car. When I saw it, I was like
To make the history bigger, you know that the economy right now isn´t good, well, in Mexico it´s a lot worse. And I haven´t found a job yet, even when my resumé isn´t bad at all. I have a bachelor degree in International Business, I speak English (At least that´s what I like to think, hehe), 50% of Japanese and 50% of Italian... haven´t had the money-car to go to the language´s school.
Well, I tore my engine apart(ka24e) really hoping to find everything in good shape, cuz when I bought the car, it had no battery and some relays, so I could not start the engine to test it, so... at home when I was removing the main girdle I was super happy, cuz the main caps were in excellent shape. Then I removed 3 rods and the same thing... everything was in good-working condition, then I moved to the final rod and that´s where I found out that I´ll need either a new engine or to rebuild this one. Take a look at the crankshaft and rod:

When I quit, I gave all of the money that I received when I quit to my son´s mom and I´m short of funds right now. So, rebuilding this puppy will take me some months I guess... unless you guys want to sell me a Ka24e engine for cheap... and when I say cheap... I mean cheeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap. xD Plus, I would like to add that I lost 5 bolts of the main girdle.
With no money and a beautiful car sitting outside of my home, a lot of time and a few tools... I decided to disassemble the whole engine bay to paint it. I´m gonna paint it with the "rattle can" method (I think that´s what it is called) cause it´s cheap and I have seen some ppl in this forum doing such a great job... so i think that at least I can make my engine bay look nice and clean before I buy or get another engine. Wish me luck finding a job and repairing this beautiful car.
Now, I´ll show you some pics of my car... enjoy.

PS. I could trade my guitar for something useful to repair my car. xD ESP LTD F-50
