It has slight front end damage, so one of my questions is where i can purchase a kouki or s15 front end conversion. and if anyone has done an s15 and what did it cost and how did it fit. Also the 300zx brake upgrade is this also called the z32 brakes? Please help!!

Welcome to NICO.....it will be your new home

As for the s14.....go with the Kouki front end....it is undoubtedly the best looking 240 ever.

On the brake question.....Z32 = 90-96 300ZX so yes the 300ZX brake upgrade is the same as the Z32 brake upgrade.

Post up some pics of your car.

It's been done, it ain't too cheap, at least the S15 isn't. Z32/300ZX upgrade is an interchangeable name. It can be done as long as you've got the 5 lug version (or you can convert the hubs as well).

Keep your search button handy, there's pics and explanations and such for both those topics and lots others.

I haven't looked into it for probably a year, but last I heard *good* s15 conversions were running close to $3000. Don't recall where, check the sponsors.

Also, have a little search around for the Q45 brake upgrade. A few people have done this with good results and it cost much less than the Z brakes. Be warned with the Z brakes, if you want to do the rear brakes as well, the parking brake cable is going to require some fabrication.

Welcome to NICO, btw. As for the S15 conversion, try posting in the Advertiser Specials forum to see if any of our sponsors can hook you up.

Just to point something out: You can redrill the rotors to 4-lug if you don't want to swap hubs. However, you'll need some wheels that can clear those massive calipers(if you have 4 lug hubs)

Complete strawberry face (s15) conversions are $2500 and up. The fit is pretty much perfect... but you get what you pay for. Get a cheap conversion and expect to have fitment issues-a-plenty!

On a side note... which VR-4 is your user name all about? Did you own a Galant or a 3000... or just a big fan?

Both cars are excellent performers until about 50,000 miles. Then... they are USELESS! The cost of keeping them running far outweighs the reward of owning one. Or... sometimes you get lucky and they don't break down.... mawahahahahaha yeah right... that'd be a first!

Welcome!!

My advice about brakes...If you have an SE (5 lug wheels), go for the Z32 brake upgrade. If you have a base 4 lug, seriously consider the Q45 brakes. They will fit under your steel wheels/hubcabs or 15" wheels...
