Well i bought about a month ago a Black 1998 QX4 for $2000 and it has been the best purchase i have ever done, i bought it with 125,000 miles it's in great condition just a couple of dings and scratches but nothing major, first thing i did was change the water pump timing belt cam and crank seals belt tensioner serpentine belt spark plugs air filter rack and pinion bushings. Quite a long list but all worth it the truck feels great very quite and smooth.

I've been quite busy trying to make it stand out a bit more, i tinted the whole truck 2.5% in rear and 20% in front sunroof also has 2.5%, installed a clarion head unit, interior led lighting, led dash mod 9 (the dash lights up as soon as i start the truck no need to turn on the lights) Also i retrofited a set of 350z projectors into the fog lights, they have a very cool looking cut-off. Im trying to find the terrano regulus headlights but its been a pain but im not giving up, and if i dont find them im retrofiting a set of s2000 projectors with a 99.5 clear headlight housing.

Looks good! Welcome to NICO.

Have you replaced the rest of the bulbs in the interior with LEDs yet?

Thank you, yes only the front dome light and the rear hatch light, the map lights dont iluminate quite as well as de filament ones if I put leds on there, dont know if its the type of bulb but i left the filaments ones installed, I also changed a couple of the cluster lights with leds, the turn signals, the high beam and a couple i dont remember right know but it makes a huge diference and i like how the interior lights up when i unlock it and I also changed all the 3rd brake lights with leds, im having trouble with the the tail lights because their acting kinda weird when i turn on the lights and i brake on side turns off and the other lights up and when i release the brake the side that turned on when i braked turns off and the other turns off and both bulbs are new and the sockets are new as well but it still does the same thing it has me stumped.

Welcome to the site, I really dig all the lighting mods you've done. Keep us posted on your progress with the truck and post some pics in the picture thread when you get a chance.

A bit difficult to understand your giant run-on sentence, but I think you must put one incandescent bulb in the CHMSL (third brake light) because all of the brake bulbs being LEDs causes very little current draw and the system believes all the bulbs are blown.

Sorry about that, I was doing all of this via the blackberry, you make a good point, I never thought of that being the issue, but tomorrow i'll change them back and see if that solves the issue.

You only need to change one bulb from LED to normal incandescent, the rest can remain LEDs as far as I know. Since there are 9 bulbs, changing one out won't be noticeable - after all, you never look at your brake lights.
