Anyone know of a reliable direct connection for connecting an iPod without giving up satellite radio or anything else? Can you replace the axillary input with iPod?

I would like to be able to control my iPod with the factory controls.

Glad to be here!

I was hoping USA Spec had something - but obviously not. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

What do you M45 owners do to listen to your iPod?

You can have it hard wired or through an FM modulator.

If the setup is the same as an 07 for the radio. PAC makes an adapter that allows you to keep the XM and play Ipod through two of the presets. Use that with the Harmon Kardon Drive and play and it is a very good comprimise in my opinion.

I pick up my M about 1 month ago and was way disappointed when I found out about the lack of integration. If you try to change out the main unit for an '08 (which is set up for ipod) its going to cost 3k+. I saw an M with a mac mini installed that routes through the main screen. You can also mod the VSS so that you can use front row while driving. Caution-- your Nav has to reset if you go a long distance in the modded mode.
