New to the boards.. Shopping for a 240

Hello all,

I live in the atlanta area and I'm looking at getting a 240. It'd be my first rwd car so I'm not too concerned about uping the power just yet. I kind of like the older '92 fastback style. Are there any bad habits/things that I should know before getting into one? I'm new to the boards and to the 240 in general so any info that you pass along concerning good and bad things about the different models would be greatly appreciated...

There are no bad models. It all depends if you want a coupe or hatch (s13) ka24de or ka24e(s13 and s14) and also if you want an s14 itself.

in my opinion i would not buy a 89-90. first off, i think you are starting out with an uglier platform (front end), and also the fact that its sohc kinda sucks. besides that, it is all preferance. what do you like better? s13 coupe, hatchback, s14a coupe, s14b coupe.

Ah yes, the SOHC sucks because the DOHC engine looks newer, and not quite so ugly, right?

I, as well as many other people, find the pignose to look alot better than the bullet-shark nose of the kouki S13.

Though it's only your opinion...
