Smile I'm new to the 350Z and forum :)
Hi, my name is Mike, I just purchased my first 350Z. I have had it for about 2 weeks and have loved every moment with it so far.

little about me. I grew up in Germany smack dab in the middle of 2 great race tracks, 40 minutes one direction Nurburgring, 50 minutes the other way Spa. Now I live with my girlfriend in the Pocono's, and I love it there. Enough about me!

The Car

2003
350Z Performance
Brickyard red
6 speed
75k
Completely Stock - minus head unit

Plans,
I don't want to say "going all out" I believe it will evolve as it evolves, though I do have an idea in my head.

the car is in great condition, however the steering wheel, shift knob, and hatch struts need to be replaced in the near future. Nissan quoted me $917 for the steering wheel. hmmmm

I do plan on lowering it and getting different wheels in the future, as well as the, but I still have research to do on this.

I am a very OEM type person, maybe a lip, spoiler, etc, and try to keep everything more function over form. I have always tried to keep the cars looking clean and not "HEY! HERE I AM! LOOK AT ME!!" I went though that years ago.

I will have many many many questions as I learn this car. I have been a BMW and VW guy most of my life and am eager to learn as much as possible.

I look forward to hearing all responses

welcome to nico and congrats on the Z! I love that color, brickyard is definitely one of my favorites....

I'm sure you can find some of the parts you're looking for (steering wheel, etc) online for much cheaper. CZP is one place and I remember there being a shop that sells used parts of salvaged 350z's. I think it's in Texas....

I was wrong...the place I was talking about it called slidegood and they are located in Minnesota, but Nissan Unlimited sounds like the exact same thing.
