New to the 300zx working on a vh45 swap
Just got a 1991 300zx and working on a vh swap. The car came with a blown vg30 and I have a bunch oof extra parts. The ecu has a Dinan performance chip # D920-201F, IDK what it is worth. Also found a relay/fuse box with a cover labeled rally motorsports, doesn't look like a factory part and not sure what it is for. I will also add that the car was partially disassembled when I got it so not sure what exactly I have. Any input would be appreciated. I would post pics but I'm not entirely sure how to do so. I apologize ahead of time if I'm not posting in the right area

First off to post pics you need to join a pic hosting site such as photobucket and the like, add your pics there then use their codes to cut and paste the pics into a post here, and elsewhere.
Next, I'll say regarding your car that due to many complexities and your lack of knowledge regarding componentry you have a pretty big can of worms on your hands. The vh swap isn't among the most difficult swaps, but doesn't produce much of note for the effort and requires hacking the hood and more to do so, basically ruining the car for future reference. Most swaps and such require the owner to know what he's doing and such, difficult to completely pass along at best and at worst such as your case, leaves a really large question mark in many areas that can never be fully answered without a lot of $ in discovery and such...basically such an undertaking is a labor of love done by someone who really knows the platform, and the type of work needed and done (or not) to the platform.
There are a few of these type cars out there and maybe these guys can help with your specific questions, Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply, when I said I didn't know exactly what I had I just meant I haven't gone through it all yet. I have done quite a bit of research on the swap and have done this sort of thing before, not on the z though. The above parts are what I have questions on so far, can't find much info on that Dinan chip. The rely box may be for an electric cooling fan mod, that's the only thing that I can think of. Just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone had any ideas
