hey guys ive been a member here for a while lurking and such... a little back ground. im currently 18 years old living in syracuse new york. ive been obsessed with cars for as long as i can remember and thinkfully my father is very handy in the trade... i save money from when i was 14 to by my first car the day i turned 16 i bought a 2002 mustang... unfortunalty a week later the car was totalled and i lost 1000dollars... this started a buying and selling fashon for me. after the mustang i bought a 1998 eclipse gs that was pristene then i sold it made some money and bought a 1995 3000gt then had that for a while completly rebuilt the whole upper end and port and polished it. after i sold the 3000gt for a 2000mustang because i was dying for rwd. while owning the mustang i came upon a 1990 240sx se for sale nice and cheap so i picked it up. soon after i sold the mustang to buy a 2003 ninja 636 r. at the point i had my bike and my 240 i thought i was good forever until someone offered me more money for the bike so i sold it and made money and bought a 2004 mazda rx8 gt i know i know not the favorite around here. while owning my rx8 someone saw my 240 and decided to make me an offer i could refuse. so there i was just with an rx8 and jonesing to own a 240sx again. winter came and i had to gedt a winter rat so i bought a 1990 mazda mx6 turbo... about a week later i leaned it out and fryed all the pistons so i bought a donar car for 200 and fixed the mx6 turbo did a complete rebuild and it runs like new...

so now nearing the end of winter and having no work left on my cars.

now im a craigslist watcher and i saw a deal on a 95 240 sx so i bought it at what i consider to be a good price.... heres the details

Looks like you're getting you hands full, which is awesome!

Q: Is that garage in Auburn by chance? It looks oddly familiar.

I am a huge fan of black.

Honestly, I'd like to see your car in a Meteor Gray Pearl (Audi color). You can easily get away with a very glossy Dark Royal Blue... IMO

Liverpool's about 35+ minutes away.

Also, in my opinion, if you were to go Kouki, I think you could get away with a more vivid choice of color.

I love all of the 240s, but ironically enough the S14 Zenki is my least favorite and the S14 Kouki is my favorite. I love how the headlights resemble like an angry brow. I have an S13 hatch, but I prefer it with the pop-up headlights over the Silvia conversion.

It's all in your taste, dude. I think Pearl White done right and kept clean would be beautiful on either style S14. I'd love to see it sometime, maybe even lend a helping hand.

i love kouki 240s they are by far my favorite but i hardely see zenkis done right and looking good so thats my reasoning for staying behind the zenki is to make mine be the one that looks phenominal

Well thats good, at least your smart and your not drivin it on our crap winter roads.. lol, isnt it suprising that you actually see 240's on the road around here during the winter?

Im actually over in clay, which is right on 57, around where wilson farms used to be.

Since my grey 1990 pignose 240sx blew its engine about 2 years ago, ive been rebuilding it for track use only. As my avatar might suggest, it has a RB26 powering it. But due to the person helping me out with my build, there is really no telling when it might be completed, seeing as he doesnt have a lot of time on his hands.

Right now the thing that sucks the most is having a 240 and not being able to drive it...
