Just bought my first Infiniti earlier today. Previous cars were BMW 3, 5, 7 and Lexus LS400.

Today I purchased the 2007 M35x; Black with Bourbon leather. Take deliver in three days and can't wait.

Andy.

Welcome to NICO, Andy!

Nice stable of cars to have owned!

Please post pictures and post on your diving experience with the M. Comparisons to prior cars would be cool!

Z - I'm an automotive journalist by trade. I'll be writing a review of the M35 later in the year after I see how she does thru an Ohio winter.

But I'm already pretty impressed and excited to take delivery. It was fun test driving something that I actually got to buy at the end of the day.

My first impression was that it was a Japanese BMW 7. Not quite as stiff in the steering, but very tight and great in the twisties. And about 35,000 less $.

I'll let you know how she does when I get her on the track.

(And just for the record, iDrive is wicked good fun.)

Very nice! Print or Internet based? Please let me know so that I can put a link to it in our sticky thread above in this forum!

Exactly the target that Infiniti is trying to hit, I think! The cost point being well below the BMW, even if the 7 is a better car in some ways, makes it quite an awesome car. I think you hit the nail on the head!
