I am new to the world of the Q and Infinity in general. I just bought a used Q45. Just hoping there is someone local I can go to if I have problems or want to add some things.

Presumabaly you have switched all fluids and filters for new ones, resorted the suspension, cahnged the timing chain guides and tensioners, under plenum hoses and necessary gaskets, cleaned the IAC and EGR valves, and the correct NGK plugs are fresh.

Maybe you didn't have time to read your trunk yet?

I live over on the Olympic Peninsula and I have taken my car to several shops, and they always tell me that something is wrong with my car and I pay to have it fixed. The problem was never fixed, if anything I think that these other shops made more problems... anyway, long story short I took it to Infiniti of Fife, they gave me an owner/loaner and they fixed my car and it cost me alot less to just take it to someone who knows then to pay other shops to "experiment" on my car. Carrie at Infiniti service is the one to talk to.

is my email [email protected]. I would just like someone to help me look at it to let me know if things are pretty good or I'm in the crapper. I think it's fine. I also have some things that need fixing......beer money or equivalent for services rendered. I want to learn.....Thanks Mr. Q

Don't know the senior techs at Fife, but Charlie is the service manager still, I think.

Won't learn much from a beer guzzler. You must find competent help.

If you really want to learn, study the FSM, read all the previous posts by Q45tech and follow the links, then you will know a lot more than any beer guzzling mechanic.
