New to Sentras.

Hey guys ive been a member of this place forever but im brand new to sentras. My 89 240 blew 2 rod bearings and scraped the motor, so i traded it in on a 04 Sentra 1.8S. its no 240 by any means but i do love the little car. Anyway i was just wondering if theres anything i need to look out for on them? any major problems or stuff that can be a headache. Mines a 5 speed and has 70K miles on it, runs greats and clean as hell. was also wondering if there are any little upgrade i can do to it to make it run better(faster would be good too but not racing fast). Any info would be great and much appreciated. Take it easy guys.~Jon

Look around, bumping up the power a little on 1.8s has been discussed a ton lately.

There's a sticky up top for common B15 issues. Pretty much the only thing you might run into is the fuel pump recall, but if it's at 70k and hasn't had an issue, I doubt it will.

thought i found the answer to my question but i was wrong. i cant find what the engine name is in the sentra, my 240 had a KA24E, im not sure what the 1.8 is called. thanks for the info.
