If your looking to a Q45 forum, you've found the best place... We're not conceited, we're just better than everyone else!!!

Welcome to the board... unfortunately pretty much everything for the Y33 as far as JDM stuff is gonna have to come from japan directly... Our own Kevin Falk is pretty good about getting all kinds of crazy stuff from japan, so to those who visit this forum, the Y33 has a lot of aftermarket support...

For body kits, everything is gonna be ridiculously expensive and sort of a pain to even get!

thanks. i was just looking at his sight a few mins ago. his stuff does look really tempting. im also wondering if lowering the car will affect the ride quality dramatically. i wanna do some 19's but i hate the wheel gap and i cant let my wife notice a difference in ride. after having a slammed 240 and maxima she would flip if the q feels anything like they did.

Okay, so Kevin had a lot of cool JDM on his car, I check out his curtains, Cima Grill and a bunch of other neat stuff. But I can tell you lowering it and adding better struts/shocks will trasnform the car into a much better handling and frankly riding car. I have 85k on my 97' and my wife drove it back from the airport after dropping me off, she drives like a snail normally but she really liked the way it rides now versus the way it used to.

If you less than 50-60k on it you will be able to put off these purchases, but the Tein springs say bye bye to the ugly wheel gaps that bigger rims and lower profile tires will immediately create.

Ride quality wont be affected. The concern is scraping and bottoming out. Depends on the road conditions where you live.

Enjoy the ride!

Hi there, I'm guessing SS MD is Silver Spring MD, so from that in mind, I think you could lower it no problem. L.A. is like D.C. streets, it's just about 500% bigger and I get on fine. MD roads are amazingly smooth for the most part, they beg you to speed but then there's the State Trooper Nazi every 30 feet. Body kits and stuff cost a fortune to ship, almost as much as the parts themselves. I just sold the Cima grille I had, I have 5 sets of Tein S-Tech's coming over as we speak. Also, my 19" wheels are for sale, I'm looking to change up again.

Sooooo looks like rims kit and jdm designs are as far as she'll let me go. your wheels are cool however im looking for a deep dish design. something so deep i can put my face in. lol...... also i was on my way home and noticed that around 45mph with light acceleration a rattle. my guess exhaust sheild. any insight? 59k on odometer
