HAHA!! Uhmm now I could be wrong but just going off the description of the 05 sedan pic being "wife's car - 05 sedan" I think the person you're implying is hotter than the car is in fact not the poster but perhaps his daughter ?? If I'm right though....

Thanks Joe! The cobra has a stock 4.6 DOHC V8 engine (305 HP). Hand built by 2 man team. They are pretty impressive engines for Ford. 6 bolt mains. Block and heads are built by an Italian company who also builds components for Ferrari & other European performance cars. The crank is imported from Germany. Panoz puts them in their sports cars too. The two man team signs the valve covers.

Joe,in 93, 95, and 2000 Ford made 250 to 300 Cobra R models that were 'bad'. They were for racers. From what I understand you had to have a SCCA license to purchase the 95 Cobra R. No back seats, no radios. 2003 & 2004 the HP went up to over 400 with a SC. It wouldn't take much to push mine to well over 400, just $$$ that I don't want to spend right now. Oh, and the new Shelby does look tempting if I could get one for sticker price, but it looks like they are selling for 60-70k .

Well, I ment "bad" as in crappy performance. didn't they have an independent suspension model that only got like 250HP?

Oh, sorry. The 1999 model Cobra was getting whipped at the strips by GT's. It was not producing the HP as advertised. Ford did a recall to boast the HP up to and over the advertised 320 HP by redoing the intake and exhaust. I have a friend with one and he said the recall gave him more that 320 HP. He is very happy with his now. In addition, there were folks snapping the half axles at the strips. So, yes, your're right the 99 model did not measure up.

KA-TeActually, my favorite color is BLACK, but grey is one of my wife's colors. I do like silver too. White is not one of my favorites, but used cobra's in great shape are hard to find.
