hi guys i tried searching but all i kept getting was "no topics found" . i just picked up a 1980 4wd nissan 720 with a z24 engine and i was wondering if any of you guys knew where / if i could get a lift for it. thanks in advance guys.

Yep, AC is the best choice. You can't do a major lift on these things...only about 2-2.5" (even on the advertised 3" lifts. Consider just doing a Tbar crank, getting it realigned (be sure to leave space between the upper control arm and the bump stop), and do a 3" body lift to clear your larger tires. 32's should fit well in this configuration, possibly with a little fender trimming. Anything larger, and the 4.10 gearing and the 4 banger will have some difficulty turning on hills.
