I just got rid of my 1993 Mitsubishi 3000gt and am currently looking for a Nissan 240sx. Just wondering what you guys thought is the best chassis for a beginning drifter and tuner. I was thinking the s13 1993 se fastback, but i'm not sure. any help would....help. thanks a lot.

Sounds like a winner! Good move on getting rid of the sled, now just be weary of adjusted market value on the 240sx. KBB value means nothing to sellers looking to cash in on the popularity of the car.

early s13(even in less than good condition) with SR engine swapped go for $7500-$8500 around here.

I say look for an S14. Better platform to start from and newer. Though the 96 and up gots OBD II which is the suck. Unless you liv in emmissions free areas.

Welcome to Nico!!! Before you buy, post the cost and as much as you can. That way the 240 guys can tell you if you are getting a good deal or not. Check out the drifter forum for info on drifting.

Glad to have you here! :)

If you plan on seriously getting into drifting an s13 is probably better for you because it more than likely will get some war wounds. But don't let me discourage you you'll have fun either way.
