Well. I suppose you'd suggest something among the RB series. Im honestly looking to swap basically just for a reliable and enjoyable ride. I dont expect to go crazy with aftermarket parts after the swap simply because Ill lack the funds after the swap plus paying out the *** for my STi. So I dont really need a high aftermarket rated engine. But im open to all suggestions. As I said im new to nissan and doing as much reseach as possible but any info is greatly appreciated.

Forget all that. I just talked to my friend who owns a shop and he told me all the advantages to getting the rb25det. Im leanin towards the rb series now. I needa make up my mind. Cheaper route too right??

hahaha cheaper... more like double the sr. custom mounts, driveshaft, intercooler, piping, wiring, it goes on and on, 5k is bare minimum, which i havent even spent half of yet so take a guess on how long untill i have a turn key swap.

you dont even have a nissan yet, why are you already dead set on swapping????????????????

the stock motor is plenty for a dd, which i have in my 95 which is bulletproof reliable. after dealing with 240's for nearly 7 years, the stock motor tends to become boring...i dont see where you fit into that category. you have an sti, build that and just enjoy the stock motor in the 240, dont fanboy.
