new to nissan's(infiniti)

hey!my G/F has a 1991 infiniti G20 that needs some minor work done to it before she gets her license. cv's, oil change, trans flush,and some other random crap.i was talking to her the other day about keeping the car for a while and doing some mods to it, to make it just alittle more fun to drive.

so heres what i wanna do.-manual swap-cams-intake-exhaust, not to loud, for the lady-springs,struts

then later down the road a sr20det swap.

so let me know what your opinions are and where are the best places to find this stuff

i have access to oem nissan parts though my work.

All those parts are pretty readily available.

Check out our sponsors page, at least one of them should have most of those parts. As for cams, Jim Wolf Technology has a bunch of different levels of grinds. On the exhaust, just make sure it has a big resonator and you'll be able to keep the noise down.

i cant seem to find an exhaust that goes on the 4door g20?

You may have to fiddle with an SE-R exhaust. Use the Search feature, I know this has been discussed a couple of times.

I wouldn't bother trying to take an SE-R exhaust and adapt it. I'm sure it can be done, but unless it's dirt cheap/free it's not worth the effort to apadt it.

why not just have a muffler shop mandrel bend and custom bend one for you? is there is significant increase or advantage with a "nam brand" exhaust

Cams intake exhaust and springs are all readily available. the manual swap, well its up to your discression to see if its really worth the time and money. also depending on what state your in an SR20 swap most likely wont be smog legal. so if your in a state that requires emissions testing you wont pass emissions. just something to keep in mind.

Incorrect, it can pass emissions if he uses a JWT-tuned USDM ECU.
