New to Nissan and Board - Vehicle Designation

I have just purchased my first Nissan product, a 1991 240SX, S13-J, 5sp, 2.4 DOHC, Hatchback.

What I'd like to know is what the different designations are, such as s13, s14, etc. What do they mean?

those are just the chassis code for the cars.s13=89-94s14=95-98

89-90 are single cam engines ka24e91-98 are dual cam engines ka24de
