Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and Id just like to introduce myself and Our cars. Ive been Searching online for the past Few months for a Nissan Forum to Join, And I was searching Google to find some Information I wanted to Add to A video I was making on My Youtube Channel and I found NICOclub and a few other sites. I liked this Forum best because of its Layout and Info. We bought our Altima and Sentra a few months from eachother in late 2013. The Sentra was a Never Maintained 2007 Car Hanging on By a Thread and My Altima I Bought from a Dealer at a major discounted price, for it was a trade in and was Butchered pretty Badly due to the previous owners " Modifications".

These two Nissans were My Very First Japanese cars. Ive never owned one nor EVER wanted to own one ( Not Even Two ). I was a Straight up GM, Chrysler Guy. I wouldnt Drive anything else. In 2007 I was Living in Austin Texas and I fell In love with the once " newly Designed" 2007 Altima 3.5 In Pebble Beach, Manual Trans Fully Loaded and a Charcoal interior. I was a kid, and soo stubborn I stuck with American and Chose a 2001 Pontiac Grand prix GT. Wasnt a Bad Car really, But thru the years and Comparing Differences Between GM, Chrysler and even Ford and finally going for it in 2013 and Ending up with not one, but two Nissans and seeing how well Built and how Hardly any corners were cut in design and even Interior Quality and Overall Quality, Im a Nissan Buyer for Life.

I'm A Mechanic, On the Electronics end. I Pretty Much knew what I was getting into with these two cars when I got them. I Learned Alot about the Sentra and ALtimas in the past year, and Im starting to post Repair Videos that I took a while back to My channel. Cant say which one was the worst, Maybe the Altima. It had soo Much Chrome Edge trim on it it looked like something from outter space, Botched Aftermarket speaker installation with one screw holding each rear deck speaker in and smaller speakers DRILLED into the front doors and front " Fog Lights" that went on fire at the dash switch conveniently cut and drilled into the fuse box access door with no fuse, 14 or 16 gauge wire running from the battery to the switch and thin SPEAKER wire running to the Fog lights themselves. Loose Grounds Everywhere, Broken Vent Shades on the door and the list can really go on. I spent about 6 Months on her, Repaired Everything, added some 2011 options in and she was named " Daisy" ( I Had No say in Choosing The Altima's Name lol ) Repainted, Just cause I wanted to and to make some repairs to Incorrect Botched Body work .

Maggie " The Sentra" ( I Got to name this one lol ) was just a run down car we got from the original owner. She had 90,000 miles on her, it was filthy disgusting, Black oil , Leaking CVT pan Needed a tune up, Headlights fogged Tail lights Cracked
( put SE-R ones on now) , Speakers blown... The list Goes on. I was able to get her paint back, I even installed Fog lights that it never had before and it came out great along with the Front struts and sound system. Now with both cars Im just at a point to where we can continue making the cars Our own. Every weekend Im doing something to those two like the fog lights, LED strips under the dash ETC. I want to start putting SE-R Parts such as Seats and center Gauge pod in my 07 and a possible moon roof for the 08 altima.

SO thats about it,I uploaded a Picture of Our Sentra and Altima are apart of my Signature after My Altima was Painted and After Fog lights were Installed in the sentra. Im glad to have found this forum. Im Definitely gonna need info and advice when I want to do more SE-R upgrades to my 07' . - Z

Welcome to NICO!
Its always fantastic when a true gear head joins the forum!
Excellent job on those cars- not a lot of folks would go to the lengths you have for the Sentra and 4 door Altima.
