New to NICO w/ a couple questions!?!?

I recently bought a '94 j30 and it runs really well. One thing I'm majorly confused about is when I look into my rear view mirror (to see out the back window) its blurry. I can't even tell what kind of car is behind me. Now I know your probably asking yourself if Im blind or something but I'm not! I've never been in a car with this kind of window before. Is this typical with nissan? Or maybe someone tried to put somthing on the window (like tint) and put it on backwards? Please help Im so confused!

Next, my glove box broke!! The door itself is fine but there is some sort of clip underneath the part you open and close the glove box with and it's not latching anymore. So the dumb thing stays open all the time. I have a cream/pearl exterior with a dark tan/brown interior if anyone knows where I can find a new glove box door or just the little handle thing in that color let me know i would appreciate it.
