Hello, I am new to Nico Club, just thought id post a few pictures of my car.

2008 nissan altima coupe 2.5s CVT, winter frost pearl

i first added led tails, takeda intake, and vent shades

then came eagle eye headlights, painted roof, and c-mod grill (i painted the grill myself, kinda keeping the whole black & white theme)

the last thing was the carbon fiber deck lid spoiler(it is attached, will post a picture soon)

im looking for wheels now, I am ready to buy but the last 3 pair of wheels i tried to order were on back order for months!

i should also have still header & stillen exhaust by end of summer.

Welcome!

Those headlights look great on the white Coupe, havent seen them on there yet. Also works well with the black LED tails.

Dont buy wheels just because they are in stock and you have to have them right this minute. If the ones you really want are on backorder, wait for them. You will be much happier in the end, its a big investment.

Thanks guys,

I'm definitely not rushing into a wheel decision, if it comes down to not being able to find something I will just get the exhaust and header first. And as for the headlights they might be my favorite part of the car, and I think the headlights and tails match the black plastic around the exhaust really well also, I don't like that they started color matching that exhaust housing IMO.

I would love to take the front plate mount off, but i bought this car a little over a year ago and whoever had it before me completely destroyed bumper putting that on. Seriously IDK how you do what they did, I would like to get a new front bumper eventually so I suppose it will have to stay like that for now.

I am digging the lights.....just wondering what you paid for them and if you have any fogging issues with them?

When I got them they were pretty new I want to say i paid in the neighborhood of $600, but they have gone down now to $400-$500.

As for fogging when i first got them they fogged like crazy, so i looked under the hood and i had forgot to put one of the twist seals back in  . ( not a bulb just a connector for the leds) Once i did that I put a small amount of black silicone down the entire light seal just incase. And after that not a single problem so I guess the are sealed pretty good just a dumb mistake on my part.

What...is...THAT?!

Looks like the previous owner had plugs and the dealership drilled right through them to mount the plate bracket?

I know it looks as if they were drilled out from behind, I'm really not sure how someone could do this

sweet ride, I like what you have done with it so far. Did you paint the radiator black to match the c mod grille, I noticed how you can't see through it, looks good. btw welcome to nico

Thanks man,

Yes, I painted the radiator and everything else behind the front bumper high heat flat black, and also cut out the center bumper support so you couldn't see in behind it. It really lets the gloss black c-mod glisten and shine on its own. I would recommend this setup to anyone going with the c-mod grill.

sweet I just purchased my C Mod grille but I wasn't sure what I was gonna do about that support bar. cutting it didn't effect the bumper in any way did it? It does look so much cleaner with it not in the picture. Painting the radiator is something I'm definitely gonna have to do

Welcome to Nico Luke! Love the theme you're doing. Headlights look ok but for the price they are asking, for a couple $$ more you can get a total custom projector setup by Dangeri Lumentions. (I know, shameless plug :couch ) Dont get me wong, the headlights are OK but in reality, the quality of the components used are...well..eBay quality. Whatever you do, don' t use a HID kit in there as it will burn or scorch the bowls. It may even set it on fire. The bowls aren't made for the extra heat a xenon bulb puts out....

Thanks!! Happy to be here.

I definitely wont be going with any HID kits, was just excited to get something started when I first got the car. but that was before i was a member here, I have seen some of your lights on here and they looks amazing to say the least so don't worry about your self promoting lol, a set of lights from you has crossed my mind and may very well be on my upcoming upgrade list :bigthumb:

I haven't had any issues without the bumper support, even if you paint it black it still sticks out like a sore thumb cutting it out is definitely the way to go.
