Whats up people. Heres the deal. I live 20 minutes from heavy throttle in NY. i orginally wanted to do an sr swap but with the sponsorship by IAP i'm stuck on which route is better. SOHC KAT with forged internals vs. HT SR swap.vs front clip. So many choices. Which way did you guys go with your projects and why?

Welcome!

You may want to search for that (top right corner) since there have been several wars on the topic. As far as I know most people use the DOHC engine for KA-T builds though. Dig through the other 240SX & Silvia subforums for info on other swaps.

your money

personally I feel that sohc and automatic is never worth any kind of upgrade

I have a sr, if I can do it again I'll get the rb25/26

why? more torque, 2nd turbo, 2 extra cylinder, .5/.6 more displacement

Welcome! HT is a very reputable company so if you choose them you'll be just fine. As far as what motor you want....... I'll leave that up to you.

Welcome

This question again lol. Seriously, you decide on which is best for you and your goals. JDM goodness, or USDM hotness, 2 litres or 2.4 litres, KA inside or SR inside

etc.I'd go for an RB lol.

The main point is, HAVE FUN on NiCO man, jokes have passed and more are to come.
