Very thorough job of doing things right before putting the motor in. I'm so tempted to just throw it in there and get it running but I KNOW things like the water pump, thermostat, and timing belt should be replaced first. Sucks because I'm getting anxious!

I agree with Eikon, sticky this immediately. Lots of fantastic info there. Hell, most of that would cross over for any RB engine in reality. This guy really went all out for the sake of the swap. The pics are incredible and the info is easy for the layman to understand. KUDOS to you 240Z_Master!!

FYI: all autolite plugs are not junk. There are dynos floating around that using properly prepared autolite plugs will sometimes give you a hp advantage over more popular plugs like NGK, ect.

That is true and I understand what you are saying, but my personal preference for a Nissan motor is NGK (since most Nissan plugs are NGK anyway). Everyone has their own preferences and potentials.

Spark plugs as long as they produce spark is the main important thing!

I commented to you on Hybridz.org, and told you how great of a job you were doing , i also linked your livesockets page to here for people to use and get great info from, didnt get to many bites, looks like you pulled it off a little better than me, I keep going back to your site as well. My project is moving along steadily as well..
