Hey guys!

My name is Francis , i'm 20 from montreal quebec. I own a 1990 r32 skyline, its my second one.

Image

Its a gtst with a rb20. When i got it it was stock except a fmic and intake,

Image

Last summer i added

Kinugawa hybrid rb25 turbo (great turbo)
front facing intake
blitz ss blow off valve
3'' hks exhaust
wideband/boost gauge
Hdi EBC-R (great for the price!)
catless
......

Turbine size compare to stock

Image

Look at the size of the compressor housing

Image

I still have to install

440cc deatschwerks injector
z32 afm
Tomei poncam
raw brokerage underdrive pulley
e-fan for the rad
delete the a/c

Right now it looks like this

Image

And to release all the potential of the engine i bought a rb20 socketed ecu yesterday for reallly cheap! It got a chip for a rb20 afm with 1000cc injector, not really what i need! Does CarlH still do eprom tune? If yes it would be awesome to encourage someone of the forum!

I'm aiming for atleast 320whp @18-20 psi.

Thanks guys!

Frank

I dig the gold painted T rims. Never seen that done and it looks pretty sharp!

more pic of my little build

Battery in the trunk

Bunch of parts i installed last summer

Then the turbo swap

Image

It was a hell of fitting cause it was not clocked like oem and oil line did not fit 100%

Image

But i managed to installed it and love that turbo!

Then the ffp, man this was the most frustrating part i ever installed! With motor in it was a pita to bolt the 11 manifold bolt!

Image

first test fit

Image

Didn't like the ''chromish'' effect so:

Image

Also i needed a bov because the oem is on the j-pipe!

Image
Image

Cannot leave the valve cover all dusty and dirty

Image

Almost finish!

Image

Right now it sits like that

Image

But i wont be like that for long because i bought this, also need to redo the occ line more stealth (black) , a little engine bay degrease also .

Image
Image

Hybrid performance manifold, Alot of good feedback from guys at skylines australia forum. Talked alot with the owner and bought one but damn the shipping is so long from new zeland!

And all that:

Can't wait to get my car in april since its stored for winter (quebec yay!) Hope to get it to 300-350whp

I see you have a bit of style. Digging the contrasting colors and somewhat cosistent theme. Quite refreshing I must say.

Kinugawa td05h 18g . Turbine and compressor size are +/- 2mm like a garret gt2871r.

Were it me I would go for a 3071R
http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... RT-TBO-020
or 3076R
http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... y_Code=GRT

I'm not down with Taiwan turbos.

I saw a couple rb20 with gt30xx and i think its way too laggy, maybe that with the cam it will compensate a little spool time, then maybe i can get the td05h 20g. The comp wheel is a tad bigger .

You need a little bit of cam to spin it, yes. A mild set of 264s should make it sing and idle smooth.

Very cool R32 Frank. The paint and mask work looks solid too. What gold is that and are you spraying it via spraygun/airbrush or straight of a can?

Thanks hhan

Spray can but hell of a prep job. Sanding sanding priming sanding.....4 coat of gold. 3 coat of clear . Than a water sanding and here is the result!
