i have a 240 with the red top sr20det installed..

the car starts and runs.....idles fine....but when u go to rev it up past 4k and let go of gas pedal...rpms drop down past 400 and the car dies....if u let it warm up it was always die no matter what rpms u go to.....when u drive it it always wants to die when u decelerate at a stop sign...rpms drop and the car stalls out....happens less when car is cold but all the time when car is at normal running temp....if u leave it in gear and let the gear help slow down the car its fine....does not die......if the car does die it will always start rite back up again....

we checked the codes on ecu and it says 55...which is no malfunction if i am correct.....but we have already replaced tps, maf, iacv, and ecu.....still no luck fixing prob....

everything is stock cept:-hks 3" cat back exhaust(used)-t3/t4 turbo and tubular manifold(only xspower...top mount...with tide wastegate at only 8 psi)-hks bov(used....tried motor with it connected to vacuum and with it disconnected to vacuum...no change....vented to atmosphere)-upgraded inter cooler and piping(personally fabricated piping...should be air tight...will take off and double check them for leaks)-Q45 igniter chip(wired myself....everything sparks fine)-nismo motor mounts and trans mount-stock 240sx vicious lsd(not stock for my car but another donor 240.....)-changed fuel filter to 300z one-misc smaller items not worth mentioning(ie...clutch and such)

-im using lower harness from ka and switched the sensors off ka onto sr trans...ie..speed sensor, nuetral safety, and reverse light switch(reverse lights dont work...not sure y but thats for another disscussion)-im using stock ka maf(off a ka24de not the regular ka24e)...think the one i changed was same as well...(still have metal clip on and does not move)-brand new o2 sensor off 300z...(o2 sensor is on down pipe rite after turbo)-did wiring myself...double and triple checked everything befor it was put in....

going to change coolant temp sensor with ka one to check that...soon.....and will check the wires to the coil packs to see if hoses are putting out too much heat on them soon as well....

car idles fine with no spitting and sputtering...revs up fine too....sounds great...just wont catch itself on deceleration to idle.....tried to turn up idle to bout 1500 but still wont catch idle had a buddie that moved from phoenix, az come look at car but he has never ran into such befor....he says car sounds fine but not sure on y it wont catch itself to idle....(my first sr swap so not too sure if it sounds fine or not....thats y i had buddie come check things over)

i kno that im running a little rich.....not sure if that has anything to do with it.....still have stock fuel pump.....(it was replaced befor but only with a stock replacement...have pulled it out and double checked it...everything looked fine)

i am not a complete newb to motors and such...have done alot with cars for a long time....have been looking all over all different sites for anyone else whos had problems like mine and i have tried almost everything that has been posted like resetting tps and cleaning out iacv with carb cleaner....ran seaform through it as well....i have yet to find any posts that have the same problems as mine...and this is the best site i have seen with the most knowledgeable people to help diagnose problems......if anyone has anymore suggestions please let me kno.......

thanks ahead of time for all your comments and suggestions.......

I have heard that with a lightweight clutch and flywheel that the engine can spin down too fast for the iacv to compensate....I have a similar problem but not quite as bad.....I just deal with it....mine is pretty heavily modded though. I've got a blitz single plate clutch

thanks for the input.....it helps a lot to kno that something is not tremendously wrong but mine seems to be so much worst than anyone elses .....i think my oil is full of fuel from trying to start it alot too...so ill get that changed and check to see if the oil isnt too thin with all that fuel in it....im going to put 10w40 into it to help thicken up the oil to see if it will creat more viscosity to help slow the engine down a bit

Wouldn't go any thicker then that in your neck of the woods. SR's are VERY dependant on oil and you don't want to take a chance on starving it.
