Here is a short rundown of the situation. I drive a 93 240sx Coupe. (BTW)

Around a month ago I drove to work, everything was normal until I came out of work 9 hours later only to find a huge puddle of coolant in front of my car. (I was parked on an incline.)

So I did my research and came down to the conclusion that it was the water pump so I replaced my thermostat and my water pump.

Everything was cool, bled the system and was good to go no more leaking and what not for around a week.

So yesterday I was pulling into my driveway and my girlfriend asked me when I got out why was there fluid pissing out under my car again.

So I lifted the hood and low and behold it was leaking pretty profusely from the same spot again.

Could be a random coolant hose under the intake manifold, possibly do a pressure test or just feel all the hoses to see if one has a tear.

All of the signs seem to point to the water pump, after I replaced it with the auotpwn special it stopped leaking for a week then started back again.

Alright, disregard the photos as it looks to be coming from BEHIND the thermostat housing and accumulating by those bolts.

Any ideas?

Yeah, I was going to say, those bolts are for the lower timing cover and really don't hold any coolant behind them... just oil.

You said the leaking stopped after the WP/thermostat job... maybe you just had a gasket failure there, and need to go through it and do it again. Did you wait for a sufficient amount of time for any RTV to cure before driving/pressurizing the system?

I let the RTV cure for about two days, as I was busy with work.

Figure out which one is leaking by putting your finger underneath each one of the gasket surfaces... if its leaking from there, there will be a drop or so of coolant clinging to the metal, and your finger will come out wet.
