Hey all new to Nico club, very sweet forums lots of enthusiasts its great to be here. I do not on a 240 yet but im looking. I want to get basically a winter project car and that will keep me a little more outside that sitting indoors doing nothing. I Have my eyes on a 1996 or 1997 240, however in nebraska there are not many for sale lol!!!

yeah, thats what my cousin said, but its like I told him if I do it over a period of time I will be fine, im not rich but im not broke either lol!!! I just need to figure out which year I wanna go with there are few 96-97 in nebraska more 1988 to 89 most are automatics. I know lots of people have done the conversions but Id rather just look for a 96-97 240.

Hello!!!

Welcome!!!!

95-96 has a zenki front end. The 97-98 have Kouki front ends. You may find what your looking for if you narrow your search to either of these years and look hard. Picking up every auto sale book you can. You may find a gem in a hay stack! Check craigslist, ebay, etc.

These cars are not tempermental. They can take a beating. If you find a badly rusted shell with a good motor for a low price, get it. And get a nice shell to swap the motor in. It is really, that simple.

welcome! if you are looking for a project car and you already have a daily driver definitely dont hesitate to buy a damaged one. my 95 that i just bought just needs some front end pieces and a radiator but thats really it. paid just 600 for it. just make sure if its been crashed that the frame isnt damaged
