Just wanted to say hello to everyone and a thank you to RicerX for posting about the performance parts for the Altima.

I just purchased the K&N 69 Typhoon intake kit and I'm looking forward to installing it as soon as it arrives! Next upgrades planed are the Racingline Rear swaybar/links and the Front Tower Bar/links. Eventually I want to upgrade the header and exhaust system.

I'm looking forward to learning more and hopefully providing some help whenever possible.

The K&N intake arrived today do I jumped on the installation right away. Took about an hour and a half and went pretty much as the included instructions described. If anyone has any mechanical ability at all it is an easy install.

I immediately jumped in for a quick spin around the neighborhood and the first thing I noticed when I hit the throttle was a distinct "purr" that wasn't there before. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to notice the approximately 6 hp gain from this, but I think I like the sound!
