Hello welcome to nico club.. Not real familar with the luck of the rb motors purchased through a jdm engine depot. But here check this out. It is from the 300zx (Z32) section.

jdm-engine-experiences-noobs-read-t530009.html

^Z32 ppl that swap their na for a tt have had major problems with the jdm motor's.. Even the ppl that are just replacing a TT motor (the z32 guys recommend to rebuild..)

So maybe you should look into buying a used RB motor that knowingly has something wrong with it and just rebuild it...

Yea when I get the motor I'ma do the timing belt, the water and oil pump, and a full oem gasket kit, but compression test first lol, that's why I'm asking cause I'm already expecting the rebuild, it's never a good idea to just throw in an engine just like that, especially a Jdm engine

Yea, I'ma most likely buy it off my friends that has bad piston rings and take it from there since most of the other things are in good conditions
