New to NICO and Infiniti

great forum...great info. I'm new and I hope to add to the forum. Bought a 2007 G35x all avail options last month (3000 miles allready). Uhh, love it. I drive 35-40k (80% highway) year so hopefully I will be a good test subject for reliability, wear items and everything else. I will post everything I experience good/bad.

Observations so far..... thirsty car, but worth it. getting 385-400 miles per tank with 80-85% highway at 80-85mph. Drop it down to 65mph and get 24mpg, but I can't do that for long. Car begs for 85mph. I haven't burned a drop of oil yet which I was looking for after reading some of the posts here. Going for 1st oil change next week, then switch to mobil1 at 7500 miles. Dealer recommended the switch to syn. at 3rd or 4th change.
