New to NICO/A quick question...

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Well first off, I'm new here. Been driving my 1995 Nissan 200sx SE-R for getting close to a year now.

My car is almost entirely stock, but the engine was blown up by a previous owner and replaced with a G20 engine.

My Question: If I was to get a G20 ECU to put in my 200sx, what type do I need to get. I know it has to be a manual transmission type, but I keep seeing different codes with them. Thanks in advance for any help!

Check the back of the current ECU and make sure the codes match up. Why would you replace the ECU, though?

automatic transmission, automatic ecu. 5 speed transmission, 5 speed ecu. he probably wants the g20 ecu because it removes the speed limiter the 200sx ecu has.

Sorry, I forgot to mention why I wanted the G20 ECU. Yes, it is because it does not have that pesky 109 MPH speed limiter. I am not sure about the codes matching up.
