Hey everyone! Just thought I'd sign up and say hello to everyone. I just picked up a 2003 Infiniti QX4 today. I'm very excited to have it, and look forward to joining the community!

Edit:The QX4 has 106K miles on it, so I'm planning to do some maintenance on it right away:

-Seafoam!-Spark Plugs-Fuel Filter-Oil and Oil Filter -Air Filter-Cabin Air Filter-Check all fluids-Transmission, transfer case, front and rear diffs (Credit to carnalc30)-detail, check all lights and tire wear (Credit to sicwitit)

Anything else I forgot? Thanks!

I also always do a complete wash, wax/buff, detail of the interriorchange out headlight bulbs, if they are dimcheck tire condition, if you know how to determine its age, and wear condition, if its me, I usually buy new tires unless I can tell they have 80% of tread life left...I'm just anal retentive about things like that.

I also do a functions check of everything that has a function. all switches, lights, dials, or what ever has a function.

That list looks pretty good now. You'll enjoy your new ride. Suspension parts are going to be near the end of their lives, so just keep an eye out on them.

You'll find a ton of useful information on this board and people here are always willing to help.

Here's a link to the service manual for an '01 QX4 posted on the board here. Most everything should be the same as your '03.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the community, you're gonna love your (new) ride. Your list looks good and I agree with the suspension suggestion. There are a couple of 2" lifts available which are nothing but swapping out your springs. Check to make sure all of your bushings are tight, if they're not replace them right away.
