Hey guys,I'm the proud papa of a 2003 "Desert Platinum" G35 Sedan. I bought it with 57k miles for $15900. So far it's an excellant ride. Looks great, a thrill to drive, I love the power!!! The only flaw (minor) I have come accross so far is chipped paint on the hood (not just the bumper). Would you say this will continue based on the angle of the hood? Also, (different topic) is a K&N "type" air filter standard on this car or did I just get lucky?

I'm new to this forum. Lot's of great info!!!

CP

P.S.I know, I know. I'll include pics when I get some. Soon.

Hey, K&N filter is an aftermarket part.

Is it just drop in filter or pod type?

I guess you could call it a drop in. It's rectangle and stands verticle. A first for me. Every filter I've had in the past laid flat.

Welcome to NICO!!

Congrats on your new toy!

The paint chipping seems to be a problem on some of the G's... I personally haven't experienced it though. But there are a few posts here on it.

Your K&N is definitely an aftermarket.

Any future mods planned?

Ok so don't listen these guys they've been drinking together for the last 48 hours. JD, Vodka name it they had it.

Lets go back to the business. Sooo when are we going to put some mods in this baby. You need some probably you feel it already not loud enough or you think it should be faster or should look a little bit different. Just let us know we guide you to bankrupcy I mean to the right path.

You can't just buy a G and not mod it.

Thanks guys. I'd love to do some mods, but at the moment I am a full time college student. Not too much $$$ to speak of for awhile. For now, I'll probably sit and dream about it.

oh yeah pics by Monday.
