I just got a 200sx as a replacement for my baby that I recently sold on here ('95 240SX), and I was just wondering, it's all stock, and I want to go ahead and start getting a few power mods, intake, exhuast and anything else I can think of. However, having had my 240 previously, I'm not familiar with the 200's, and don't really know what's available for them, and where to go for that matter. I still have my previous sites for the 240 like Enjuku and Options Auto, but I was wondering if anyone knew somewhere I could check specifically for 200's. Also, if anyone knows where to get appearance mods like projector headlights and maybe some blackouts or altezza style rear lights for the 200, the info would be much appreciated. Also, any other suggestions in any other area with the car would be great, like I said, I'm not familiar with the 200 just yet. Thanks in advance!

What model do you have?

If you got the 2 liter engine, you should be familiar. Its a SR20 under the hood.

if its the 1.6, still a good engine, but limited.

Let us know what you got and well take it fromt there

It's outdated, but still lots of good info. Also, I would recommend getting on the SE-R mailing list (http://www.se-r-list.org). That's where all the old timers lurk, and you'll find the latest in SR20 research, for Sentra/200SX applications.

That is assuming you have an SE-R.

unfortunately i didn't get the sr20, i've got the ga16. i'm sure there's not a whole lot I can do, but I was hoping I could get maybe 30-40 extra horses just for a little jump in power until i either am able to go with a Bluebird or can get afford to have the engine rebuilt and turbo'd. so any suggestions anyone has for the ga16, i'm all ears. :) Thanks!

With bolt-on's, you are probably only looking at 20 extra horses or so.

JWT has a pop charger intakeHotshot makes a cold air intakeHotshot makes headersExhaust, well, you can get that anywhereJWT also has an ECU, I'm pretty sure anyway

If you are looking for something more, Chip, down in FL, his shop makes a turbo kit for the GA16, as does Hotshot.

Check out our vendors. More than one of them can get any hotshot or JWT parts. If you want to get a hold of Chip, let me know and I'll email you his phone # (not sure of his shop's #, all I got his cell #).

also check out nissan performance mag for their ongoing article on the ga16 powered 200sx, and some reader's rides to get some good ideas or whatnot.
