Well, im picking up my car this weekend from the dealership. I work there so im getting a pretty good deal. 05 Altima 2.5S, 38,000 miles for 11,315 with tax, title, and tags. Now, I dont really care about modifying the car or anything...other than 1 thing. Does anyone know where to buy the nav system for the altima? I really like the one in the Altima's, but because the one i'm buying is the base model pretty much, it doesnt have it. So if anyone knows where I could pick one up, without having to sell a kidney and an unborn child, let me know. thanks

Welcome to NICO

Adding Nav to a non-nav vehicle will be expensive. Not only will you have to source the nav unit from somewhere but I believe there are harness parts and such that would need to be found as well.

Best bet would be aftermarket.

Ok. Thanks. What are the best bets for an aftermarket nav system? One that wont break the bank. I am going to college....so this car is gonna be putting a hurtin on me as is. Are there any units that are relatively cheap and good?

I would go by your local audio/electronics store and check them out. TomTom, Magellan, etc are all out there. See what meets your financial requirements while offering what you need.
