I really like the G35 coupe and have been looking at buying one. I came across a 2003 with 27000 miles in what appears to be perfect shape. Its a premium sport edition (?) and the dealer wants 22,500 which seems good according to Kelly BB. I decided I might buy it with a full 70k/5 year Infinity Elite warranty. Final price out the door including tax and tag was 25k. That seemed like a lot for a 5 year old car. What do you guys think. Is this a good deal for this car? I appreciate all input - Thanks

(2003 G35 coupe, granite, new tires, 27,000 miles, sport package, auto, all records, 1-owner)

Welcome to NICO!

Getting the warranty on an 03 is probably a good idea. They have issues with the radio that can be costly ($600 for a new one). Check out the forum for more answers.

I hope they didn't sell you an "Infinity" because you would've just paid $24,000 over what you should've for some speakers...

Although the mileage is low for an '03, I think that's still a bit pricey. Try making a better deal, complain about any scratches or dents, KBB is usually overpriced. Whatever you can to lower the price. and i hope you're purchasing an Infiniti! cars.com is where I shopped around for mine~

Thank you for the reply. I did end up buying the car. I paid $24,561 out the door. That included tax, tag AND a 5 year, 70k mile infinity elite warranty, 0 deductable. All things considered, I think its a good deal. i welcome your input though. Would you agree or do you still think its too much money..

It's all good, car payments of 475 bucks a month or 500 bucks a month. Same difference IMO. It's got really low mileage and you've got a warranty. Just drive it for 4 years or so and put 40k give or take on it then trade it in on a newer G35 or G37.

Welcome to NICO! pics pics pics!!!

Well, like USAF said, it does have a really low mileage for an '03, and plus you've got a pretty good extended warranty. stealerships overcharge for warranty though, but love the mileage on it~!

Thanks all - Looking forward to getting all kinds of information on here.

The car appears to not be a standard din/double din stereo setup. What are most of you doing to rectify that so an aftermarket Nav/reciever can go in?

Welcome to nico,

^ he is right. Lets go with some mod. Anything in your mind?

Let us know we can free up your bank account no problem. Investing in your car is the smartest thing you can do. I mean you have money in your bank. Is that make you happy as the intake can when you floor it ever time? See what I mean it is a really good investment. J/K.

I'm all for it! Is an intake the best bang for the buck to start out with and what type of gain can I expect?

(I also have an 06 Corvette C6 and the intake mod actually didnt make any HP gain. Turned out to be $300 bucks waisted so I'm a bit leery now. I'm sure you guys will lead me in the right direction)
