Hello all, I recently picked up a '06 M35 Lux. Big difference from what I generally drive. I traded in my '02 BMW 330CI for it. A few questions, when I adjust the driver seat, it moves all the way forward or backwards. I can’t just tap it to move up a bit. Also, with the adaptive headlights, are both set of lights suppose to move? Only the right one moves. I love everything else about the car. Can’t wait to start the modding. First up, tinting the windows next week. Thanks in advance guys.

Welcome to NICO!

Since I do not have the new M models, I cannot answer your questions. So, I hope someone pops in and gives you the details.

You can also contact the dealers - I am assuming your car is under warranty, so they can help a lot. Plus, if you do not already have an Extended Warranty, I would strongly recommend one ... in all modern cars, the amount of expensive electronics that can go wrong makes this worth it!

Thanks for the reply szhosain,It's still under warranty. I just wanted to know before I go in (or if I need to take it in) I went ahead and set up an appointment.

Hello,Welcome to NICO, Mark. I too, cannot help you with the adaptive headlights. However, I will strongly recommend Huper Optik window film if available in your area. While a bit more expensive, the heat rejection properties are simply astounding. Seeing you are from the "Great White North", perhaps the juice is not worth the squeeze. Still, simply amazing stuff. Since you have a M35, I would recommend checking out the G35 forums here (same engine). They have two subforums dedicated to engine mods. http://forums.g35club.org/Again, congrats on your new purchase. Very glad to hear you have enjoyed it.Cheers,M.L

Mark,

FYI. Your Adaptive headlights are probably fine, the drivers side (Left) will only move when the car is in forward motion above 16 MPH. This info is from my owner's manual. I am also new to this site. This is my first post. I am the proud owner of a 07 M35x and cant seem to get back behind the wheel of my 01 Expedition.

Not sure of the lighting on the M-35. I have had several Infiniti's and BMW's with zenon lighting and I think this may have been a overkill in engineering as it is a little scary the way it is cut off. I understand that most of that mind set is because of the bright white glare of the zenon, but it does present another set of problems.

Mark.Your seat should be able to move a bit at a time. Something is not right if it moves all the way back/forward. Check and see if there are dust particles that are wedged into the button that would not allow it to function propperly.
