man it feels good to be back on nico after selling my s13 coupe. i just piced up a 96 g20 and want to know as much as i can as i did w/ my 240. how do i tell if it has the 1.6 or the sr they look ths same too me and i know my way around an sr if u get my drift

i think i might go VIP with the G

Just like in the 240, Nissan used the numbers for a reason.

G20=SR20DE

FWD SRs are different.

It's a good car, lots of options for whatever you want.

Yeah, you have a lowport SR20DE, meaning OBD II. There's a few things you can do with the exterior (diff grille, some body kits etc), but bolt ons is where it's at. There were tons of parts made for these, as I'm sure you know. Do you have leather seats? Sunroof? Chrome door handles? Just trying to get an idea of what your car looks like.

im thinkin about the hotshot turbo kit for my g. how is the bottom end? is it like its rwd counter part? the only bk ive seen for the g is the skyline kit. is there a 5 lug conversion for the g

not sure about the HS kit, but I'm pretty sure that I have not ever heard of a 5 lug swap.

I haven't ever seen 5 lug conversions. I'm sure it could be done, but there isn't any point. Your wheels are more limited by offset than lug pattern.

HS is a good company, should be nothing wrong with that kit.

Stock USDM lowport DE internals can take roughly 15psi.
