The closest match for a swap is a FWD SR20DE/DET/VE. You'll need some parts off an 00-01 SE for the job. Do some searching in this and the FWD SR forum, we have had a couple members get interested in this swap and discuss the specifics involved. You could also swap in a QR25DE out of an SE-R/Spec V, which is very much USDM.

Honestly, you're better off just trading it in for a car with a more power engine in the first place if that's what you're really after.

no I'm on sick leave and have nothing but time and i love to make things my own, but thank you for your input I'm going to go with a jdm 20 just waiting on them to give me a price. so i can have it delivered and start my journey to Nissan fun, my last Nissan was a 280 zx in the 80s so i will enjoy the crap out of this venture.
