Post

Greetings

Just converted from a BMW 7 series to an M37x. BMW priced themselves out of the game and I am tried of not being able to drive my car in the winter. Picked up a 2011 M37x with the Premium and Touring Packages. A day into it I am pretty confident I made the right choice. My question for the group is I have the Bose speakers in my seat and so far have not heard anything come out of them. Do I need to change some settings? Anyone else experience this issue?

Thanks in advance

Todd

Try putting a DVD player in the car and watching the movie, you should hear stuff then. Or if you turn on the crappy centerpoint processing stuff in the audio settings you will hear them on with any music. The system sounds best with a quality sounrce, so try buying a DVD-Audio disk of your favorite band (might be hard to find) and see how it sounds. Try something like Hotel California from The Eagles, or Dark Side of The Moon from Pink Floyd

Enigma1987 is correct on turning on the "centerpoint" feature in your audio settings! Dvd audio and DVD movies is what this feature is best with but I enjoy it with my Ipod and HD music box audio also. (recorded cd's). Go to the settings menu, select audio, scroll down to Bose Centerpoint and turn it on. Also raise the volume on your surround settings since your seat speakers are surround speakers this will optimize the sound in them! Try that and it should do the trick.... Good Luck!! :bigthumb:
