I just got a G35 coupe auto, It needs some major TLC, cleaning, tires, oil change, filter change....

I deleted the air box and put a cone filter on (worked great on past cars, nice sound and power gains) As I Read more it looks like this will decrease tork and it will heat soke the air. Could this make the car misfire during 80 mph highway driving?

What are some small things I can do to the car? (Cost effective to keep me busy)

+1, you will be fine with the cone filter (popcharger?).

What year is your car?

For more mid-range HP, get a 5/16 Motordyne plenum spacer. CAT-back exhaust would be next.

Check out the G-series FAQ (link in my sig) for more info.

So I made A Ztube out of 2 3 inch intake pipes with a 22% angle, plastic with a crome look, not sure if it makes more hp but it sounds great from 3500 rpms to 6300. I will try to put up a pic tomorrow of my concoction

Congrats on the new toy!

I have heard nothing short of a positive response from people who have installed Grounding wires on an AT.

We have a member/NICO supporter here who MANY have purchased from and have been very happy with the results.

Email him for info.

I hear clear corners and a couple sticker add like 10hp too!
