NEW! to forums and nissans

Hey guys,

Im new to the forums and to nissans. Im from Michigan. Just purchased a brand new 09 Altima Coupe 2.5S + Convience package + moonroof (wicked black) just few days ago. I upgraded from a 07 Toyota Yaris, before that I had 98 VW Jetta.

I also ordered my first mod today, Stillen roof spoiler! Excited to recieve it in a few days.

I think the Altima Coupe is extremely nice, it has both of worlds: luxary and sporty.

Ill put up some pictures of the Altima when I get home.

Love your Yaris man! I used to rock an Echo before it got run over and I'd considered getting a black 3dr Yaris just like yours before I settled on my Altima.

A word of caution: be very careful with the black Nissan paint. It's pretty cheap (single layer) and chips if you stare at it for too long. If you can, invest in some of that 3M protective clear film for the front bumper.

Enjoy your modding! If you've got any questions, everyone here is pretty knowledgeable so don't be afraid to ask (provided you've done a proper search first!)

I actually put a deposit on a GTi before purchasing the Altima, but the insurance was pretty expensive .. almost 3/4 of my monthly payment. But I really liek the Altima

i was just gonna ask about the 3M, i was reading on nissanclub.com, alot peopel have them on theirs ... i was wondering if i should get it as well ... but the question is, is it easy to take off?

I had a 07 scion tC before the altima, and I bet that yaris was such a gas saver haha.

and about that nissanclub comment, I totally agree, everytime I ask for help they seem to act like im stupid or something, their VERY blunt.

Thats why I love this site, you guys are friendly and give me more help than I can ask for.

i became a member there first ... cause i didnt know about this forum ... and ya ... i posted couple things .. and ya ... i got owned by couple peopel there for asking a question ....

and besides their coupe forum is a ghost town .. no one posts there ...

I actaully kinda like those Yaris'. So easy and convient to get in and out of downtown parking. Also parellel parking. But still, nice choice on the A/C
