Hey guys, my name's Ron and I've been a lurker here for a while. I'll be 18 in a month, and I've wanted a 240 since I was about 11 and a few months ago I finally picked one up. It's an '89 hatch and let me tell you, she needs some love. It had a meeting with a tree, leaving me needing a core support and a hood ledge. I live in PA, so I have all winter to get things together, my main goal having the car ready for Carlisle in the spring. It was burning tons of oil, needing rings and valve seals, so I pulled the single slammer and I'm going to rebuild it over the winter as well. That being said, I'll try and get some build threads up, and keep reading on here for random DIY's. Thanks for reading, have a good day all! :bigthumb:

Do you have xomeone helping you? Ringing and gapping can be tedious work. and welcome.

Welcome man and good luck. Doesn't it seem like lately the only new 240's are all beaters in need of tons of work? Its almost like they're not making new ones anymore... :D

I kinda want to say owning a 240sx is like the 101 of auto mechanics. The people best at diagnosing problem engine noises seemed to have owned an S-chassis at one time or another in their life.
