Hi,I'm new to the forum as I purchased 2008 G35X in June and am getting used to the bells and whistles. Thank you for this great site with information.

I'm not having any success getting my voicetags to save in my phonebook. I took my car into the local dealership where they called Infiniti, tried what they thought Infiniti said to do and had no success. They don't know what the problem is. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions on how to fix the voicetag? Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't worry about the car...Infiniti has a terrific warranty. They will replace whatever they need to to fix the car.

Welcome to NICO

I agree that the phonebook function can be frustrating but what I did discover is you have to speak clearly, distinctly not too loud but also not too soft. After you hear available commands "phonebook" the system should take you there. Then the next command would be new entry and state the name. If you enter some names with only a first name and others with first name, last name it can get hard to remember so it is best to maintain consistency.

Try starting with just momenter mom home, mom mobile and see if that saves? Then press the call button on the wheel and say "call" Youll hear "please say a name" Just say "mom' and if you entered home or mobile choose one of those and the vehicle should dial the number.

Is your cell phone pairing ok with your vehicle? You should see the active LED?

If you manually dial a number with your cell does the bluetooth enable when you start the vehicle and does the call come thru the speaker?

BTW, you can only add to the phonebook when the vehicle is stopped.I usually do it while waiting for the wife to come out of the mall.

Hope this helps?
