Welcomne, and YES! You could have traded that audi for a green machine big wheel and done just as well. This forum is very slow, so be patient.

Welcome my fellow Floridian. You are going to love your car. The switch to RWD should bring many smiles per mile. Again, welcome and I look forward to seeing pix of your car. Add some tint and you should be good to go for some time.CheersMark Linkous

Thanks eveyone for the warm welcome sure feels good to come into a forum without anyone trying to bash you. Well picked up the car its black/tan very good condition cant belive it. I never knew the exhaust note was so deep with these cars, definitly no need for exahust...at least this one. So mind bottling!! Im so glad im back in rear wheel drive. I miss my 240sx. Does anyone know exactly what the powertrain warranty consist of!! Once again thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

I've owned an '03 M45 for just over 2 years now but only found this forum about 2 months ago. I love my M. Despite the fact that it is almost totally unuseable in the winter here in the midwest, I didn't have the hart to get rid of it. Being that you're in Florida, I don't think you'll have that problem. So far it seems that people on here are a bit more mature than forums for other vehicle types. I really haven't seen bashing on here.

The powertrain warranty covers just that... The engine and transmission, nothing more, nothing less. That means A/C components, alternator, etc. aren't covered. Just the engine block, internal engine components, cylinder heads, gaskets, and transmission are covered.

I have found infiniti-parts.com to be helpful for purchasing a few items such as air cleaners (hard to find) and the prices are reasonable.

Have fun,

Andrew

actually i used my powertrain warranty to cover Airbags replacement as well. The SRS sensor plus labor would have been like $800

Welcome, clean ride......i have black on willow as well.

When I bought mine back in july I was a little uneasy because i didn't know much about the m's (ls430 was other option), it just looked good on paper.......... After some reassurance from the guys on the forum and getting on the highway a couple of times, i haven't looked back...........only thing is that aftermarket is very limited but for the price, this car along with this engine is hard as nails.

btw I smoked an srt8 the other day. He didn't know we were racing but i still smoked him

Thats bad ***... I did the same thing to Aston Martin Vanquish, he didnt know we were racing and I still lost. I just love seeing fast cars actually go fast.
