Hello everyone, I am the new owner of an 04' Maxima with the NISMO package, my wife and I went to the local Infiniti dealer to see a 05 G35 sedan and when we got there it was gone. we werent to interested in anything else on the lot but then this nismo tag on a maxima cought my eye. well Id been driving a 97 J30 for the last year and have become accustomed to the appointments infiniti provides and was suprised at the interior qualityof the Maxima,,,this thing is loaded!! more options than the G. I was thinking cloth interior...thought wrong. after a test drive we signed the papers. plus the gave me $2650 for the J30!!(150,000 miles) I will post some pics when the sun is out. this car flies!!, I had a 92 240sx for a while as well, the front wheel drive takes a bit of getting used to......Ill adjust

Wonder where it was ordered from. AFAIK there were no factory assembled NISMO Maximas sold. Usually dealerships will order the parts and simply put them on the car and call it a special edition.

that thought had crossed my mind as well,,wouldn't put it past a dealer. the car flies though, it may even have a Nismo cam shaft, the previous owner was a fanatic about this car as far as I can tell. service record is immpeccable.

Nice ride I like the exhaust, hows it sound. My guess is it's a dealer add ons not factory. I did some searching and came up with no references to a factory Nismo Max. But who cares its still real nice and best of all you didn't have to pay for the mods yourself. You gotta get that beast on the dyno and see how much power she puts down. Definite tho great buy.

Nice find, yeah there has not been a "Nismo" version of the 6th gen factory built. The former owner (or the dealer) must have added them all and badged it Nismo. Also based on the wheels I would say you have an SE with the DPP (driver's preferred package) Do you have OEM NAV and HID's as well?

As far as " if anyone has info on these cars" what kind of info do you want? Let me know, J

And welcome to the 6th gen family!!

Well I have visually confirmed the Tein springs and KYB struts. I parked next to a stock sl maxima today and it looked as though my maxima was lower, and the wheels filled the fenderwells better, Can anyone notice this by my pics? I am going to try to contact the previous owner for some interrogation I suspect he ordered it from the dealer to his specs, none the less i love the car.

J, I dont have navigation, but I am pretty sure I have hid's . It has every other option I suspect.

It does look lowered judging by the lack of gap up front. And I'd say you have the SE with DPP package in which case you most likely have HID's as well. Do you have memory seat option?

Is there any issues with suspension/driveline components failing prematurely with the car being lowered?

Haven't heard of any, I just passed 80k and have been lowered for almost 5 years without a problem!
